Alison J. Saifer received a business degree from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Saifer’s education and experience background in both business and actuarial science has contributed to her keen understanding of the business and financial risks inherent in the healthcare industry today. Some of her key experiences include consulting for the demutualization of a major Blue Cross/Blue Shield plan, financial review of an insolvent HMO, reengineering of an insurance company, expert witness work, functioning as chief actuary for insurance and reinsurance clients and serving on the Board of Directors of a Health Insurance Company.
